Web Development Process
Proposal
- Description – Initial
response to client request for proposal.
- Deliverables -
Initial statement of work that includes the client's goals
and guidelines and RKWriter's assessment of deliverables
and dates. As part of this milestone, the client will receive
sample solutions for review and comment. These samples will
be in the mock-ups of suggestions for the design of the home
page and a subsidiary page.
- Payment – No
payment is required until client has reviewed sample solutions
and has determined that the project will continue. Upon acceptance
of the proposal, RKWriter will invoice client for 25% of
the total proposal amount.
Development
-
Description – Conversion
of the requirements and goals of the client into web pages
and content.

Deliverables – A
fully functional web site for client review and comment.

Payment – When
client is satisfied with the web site look and feel, and
functionality, RKWriter will invoice the client for 50%
of the total proposal amount.
Implementation
-
Description – Full
production roll-out of client web pages on host site of
client's choice.

Deliverable – Fully
functional and accessible web site.

Payment – When
web pages are tested on client's host site, RKWriter will
invoice client for the final 25% of total proposal amount.
Support
-
Description – Any
problems with the production web site will be handled as
part of the original agreement. In addition, RKWriter will
provide client with options for maintenance of the web
pages, hosting of the web site, and other technical support
requirements that the client may present. These additions
will be handled under a separate agreement.
